Just 4 days into our observation of Global Child Nutrition Month and great things are happening. We have distributed about 190 of our 250 milk bottles. We have penny wars going on at the high school and a home room competition at one of our middle schools. We had a third grade student donate her allowance savings from a year - nearly $50!
Our "Lunch Lady vs. Lunch Lady" Challenge is gaining momentum too. I'll keep you posted as our bottles are counted. I think we will make our goal of $2,500!!
